The latest Superstat releases and improvements.

Connect your club's Superstat data to your own website, dashboard, or tools. The new public API gives you access to clubs, teams, rosters, matches, box scores, play-by-play events, and team and player insights. You can also request insight generation for completed matches through the API.
Every club can use the API. To get started, open Settings → API keys in Superstat and create a key for your integration.
Explore the API documentation.
The new Season tab in Highlights brings each player's filmed games together. Open a player's season reel to watch their plays and export highlights across games. You can also edit player photos on highlight banners.
Use Export PDF on a match to download its report, stats, insights, and highlight links in one document—ready to share with your team.
Start an upload from a team sheet to autofill match details and the roster. Upload a photo, screenshot, or PDF, or paste a PlayHQ, GameDay, or box score link. The Add from Team picker is also available when building an upload roster.
Invite players directly from the team roster.
Fixed issues with removing roster players.
Added confirmation before deleting match stats while editing clips.
Improved recovery when video processing finishes without a playable video.

Turn game footage into coaching clips your players can watch and discuss.
Open Studio on a laptop or desktop and build a clip from your available match footage. Combine sections, arrange them on the timeline, and add freezes, drawings, labels and player tracking to explain what matters.
Record a voice or camera explanation alongside the footage to give your players the context they need.
Keep work in drafts, then publish a finished clip and share its link. Players can watch shared clips on any device and discuss them on the viewing page. Later edits stay private until you publish the changes.
Shared playback includes improvements for iPhone and iPad viewers.
The clip library helps you search and organise drafts and shared clips. An editor walkthrough introduces the tools, and clearer save-and-retry feedback helps you check that your work has been saved before leaving.
Studio has a separate subscription managed by the club owner. Eligible first subscriptions include a seven-day trial; a payment method is required, and the selected plan renews after the trial unless cancelled. Review the current plan and terms in checkout.
The Studio editor is available on laptops and desktops. Shared clips can be watched on phones and tablets.

Updates from 16–22 September 2026.
Switch between Created at and Match date in Matches to find recent uploads or review games in playing order. Your sorting preference is remembered in your browser.
The new setup flow lets you submit your first game before adding optional details such as your named roster, team logo and extra match information. A confirmation screen explains what happens next, and you can finish those details while your game is being analysed.
For league-managed games with the relevant data, team and player insights now reflect the selected side. Match views, stats and coaching resources have also been improved so home and away teams see the right perspective.
League administrators can open a team workspace from the team selector or a match’s View as links. The workspace brings together match review, stats, performance, players, highlights and Assistant Coach.
Clubs managed by a league now see clearer guidance where uploads, credits and billing are handled by their league.
We improved handling of longer highlight reels and reduced memory-related export failures. Uploading a photo or logo in the highlight editor also no longer causes the page to jump or appear blank.
Match reports, player reviews and votes now explain when they are waiting for the underlying match data. You can see what needs to be ready before returning to generate the resource.

Updates from 9–15 September 2026.
Create player, team and season reels from your completed games. Choose the plays to include, adjust the time before and after each event, add your branding, and export a finished video or a ZIP of clips.
Find Highlights below Players in the sidebar. Highlight views are also available from player profiles for eligible club accounts.
The new season leaderboard adds up 3–2–1 votes across selected games. Choose the matches you want to include to review the standings for your season or a particular stretch of games.
Video files can start uploading while you fill in the game details. Keep the upload page open while the transfer completes.
Jersey numbers are prefilled from your team roster.
Your first-game upload can be continued from the dashboard after signup.
Buying game credits returns you to Matches, ready to upload.
YouTube link imports are currently unavailable. Upload the original video file instead.
Use Settings > Team Details > Show player minutes to choose whether minutes are visible for your team. The setting applies to admins, players, parents and shared game links.
Use the language switcher in the header to select English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese or Portuguese. The portal also detects your preferred language on your first visit.
More reliable clip playback in Assistant Coach, including playback fallbacks.
Better clip timing when camera footage starts with a blank lead-in.
Player clip exports respect the output size selected on screen.
Owners can give ongoing permission for social highlights, reducing repeat consent requests for later games.
Completed match footage is protected from draft-cleanup operations.

Updates from 10–14 August 2026.
14 August: Coaches can enter manual player-minute corrections from Player Stats. Use this when the estimated court time needs adjusting after reviewing a game.
14 August: Team codes are more prominent, and the post-upload invitation prompt makes the player-sharing reward easier to find.

13 August: Removed the testimonials step so new teams have fewer screens to complete during signup.

Improved recovery when saved browser drafts are corrupt or draft storage is blocked, helping prevent the upload flow from getting stuck before you can continue.
Fixed access handling for accounts linked to multiple player profiles.

25 August: Claiming a player profile no longer grants club membership automatically.
27 August: Fixed credit access for clubs whose existing owner account was missing its owner flag.
